I don't want to go all Chicken Little on you. I believe they will eventually decide that it's no longer cost effective to allow the registration server to continue to operate and will eventually shut it down as well.

i'm pretty certain they have already stopped phone support and therefore you can't register by phone already. So what concerns me is that they will eventually stop supporting the registration for GS3. I've had to do this numerous times because about every 2-3 months GS3 decides to stop working on my current computer and I have to re-install it. I have to re-authorize for the new computer.

I can't take my GS3 discs and install them on another computer and then use the same registration I used to load on the current computer - it doesn't work. GS3 requires authentication via phone support or web registration in order to be installed on a computer and this challenge/response registration is not transferable to different computers.

I agree, David, I don't see them folding as a company, but I am just very concerned about the future of the registration process of the GS line.
